We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs to meet the needs of our nursing staff, including orientation, continuing education, and assessment of clinical skills.
- Conduct research and disseminate findings through presentations, publications, and consultation to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Serve as a consultant and mentor to staff, clinical leaders, and other stakeholders to promote evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
- Assist in developing departmental goals, standards, and objectives that align with the organization's strategic plan and vision.
- Manage the onboarding and orientation of new employees and students on assigned units, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Plan, update, and evaluate clinical competencies to assess the quality of patient care delivered and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct needs assessments using strategic tools to guide decision-making about educational programming.
- Lead committees, work groups, and projects related to the implementation of educational activities.
- Masters degree in Nursing (Required)
- 5 years of nursing experience, with 2 years of experience in facilitating learning and professional development
