Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Insurance Manager to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our agency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Portfolio Management: Manage a select portfolio of high-end Commercial Lines clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Departmental Workflow Optimization: Develop and streamline departmental workflows and procedures to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate closely with the Director of Commercial Lines to oversee day-to-day operations, drive business growth, and lead a team of professionals.
  • Growth Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities for the department, including cross-selling and expanding coverage options.
  • Performance Metrics: Drive the achievement of agency goals and performance objectives, continuously monitoring and analyzing metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Client Service Experience: Enhance the client service experience, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze monthly reports to assess progress toward departmental goals, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Carrier Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Team Development: Foster a productive and positive work environment within the department, providing ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure optimal utilization of our agency management system and carrier websites.
  • Staff Evaluations and Development: Participate in annual staff evaluations, contributing to the hiring and training of new team members, and undertaking additional responsibilities as required by the role.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance, with a proven track record of success in client portfolio management and departmental workflow optimization.
  • Licenses and Certifications: An active MA P & C License, with proficiency in Applied Epic (strongly preferred).
  • Skills: Self-motivation, strong sense of accountability, exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Problem-Solving and Customer Service: Outstanding problem-solving and customer service abilities, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
