Job Details

We're seeking a skilled Project Manager with a knack for metal stud and drywall construction to lead our commercial construction projects. As a Permanent Project Manager for Metal Stud & Drywall, you will be at the forefront of our projects, overseeing all aspects from inception to completion. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all aspects of metal stud and drywall construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are performed efficiently and safely.
  • Reviewing and interpreting project plans and specifications to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project.
  • Preparing and submitting budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to standards and protocols.
  • Coordinating and cooperating with clients, architects, and other construction professionals to deliver projects that meet quality, time, and budget constraints.
  • Resolving any issues, problems, or delays in the construction process in a timely and effective manner.
  • Implementing risk management procedures, safety measures, and quality control practices.
  • Ensuring client satisfaction by delivering projects on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding quality standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ Years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, specifically in metal stud and drywall construction.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in commercial construction, particularly commercial drywall construction.
  • Proven ability to manage construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and direct a team.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Solid problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and risk management practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • BA Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
