Job Title: Principal Product Manager - AI Core Infrastructure

As a Principal Product Manager - AI Core Infrastructure, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of AI Platform services, enabling businesses to digitally transform and achieve more through the power of AI.

Responsibilities:
  • Define and deliver product features and enhancements that reduce COGS and improve performance, scale, and utilization of Azure AI Platform and associated products, including Azure OpenAI.
  • Engage with key customers and partners to understand their needs and challenges and provide feedback and guidance on best practices and solutions.
  • Collaborate with feature and product teams across AI Platform and Azure to align on vision, roadmap, priorities, and dependencies.
  • Drive technical excellence and quality standards for product development and delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, engineering, research, marketing, sales, and support.
  • Monitor and measure the impact and value of product features and enhancements and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud-native platform technology, such as Kubernetes.
  • 2+ years of practical experience in AI platform techniques and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Azure cloud platform experience.
  • Prior hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLM) such as OpenAI and others, Azure AI, Azure ML, or their equivalent.
  • Customer focus and a deep commitment to delivering products that create customer value and delightful experiences.
  • Enterprise customer and partner engagement skills, including the ability to create a delivery plan, track progress, and resolve issues, risks, and blockers as they arise.
  • Effective communication skills with a broad range of audiences and the ability to influence without authority.
  • A high tolerance for ambiguity and change.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills across a set of technical, product, and business challenges.
  • Experience with enterprise solutions and a deep technical understanding of software and hardware.
