Position Overview

Physical Therapist Assistant - Full-Time

Hillcrest Health Services is seeking a full-time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to enhance the quality of life for our patients. This role involves implementing a physical therapy treatment plan established by a licensed physical therapist, utilizing evidence-based practices to improve mobility, alleviate pain, restore function, and prevent disability.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Administer patient treatments according to the established care plan, adhering to evidence-based guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate billing for services rendered and maintain documentation in line with facility protocols.
  • Effectively manage each patient's care plan through timely collaboration and communication with the healthcare team.
  • Maintain regular communication with the supervising physical therapist regarding patient care issues and treatment plan adjustments.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a long-term care, post-acute, hospital, home care, or similar environment is preferred.
  • Current licensure as a PTA in Nebraska or a compact state is mandatory.
  • BLS CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 45 days of employment.
