RESPONSIBILITIES AND FACILITY DETAILS for Cardiac Surgery Physician Assistant
- First Assist in the Operating Room; including endoscopic vein harvesting and more.
- Support for Thoracic and Vascular surgical cases
- Coverage across Clinic, Hospital, and Operating Room settings
- Act as a key support for Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgeons
- Modern Hospital and Operating Rooms established in 2014, with a recent $100 million expansion. The program includes 4 interventional cardiologists, 1 invasive cardiologist, 1 electrophysiologist, and 2 structural cardiologists, performing procedures such as TAVR and Watchman.
