Daily Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations for referred patients, employing appropriate assessments to create a timely and compliant plan of care.
  • Deliver patient treatments efficiently, adhering to the established care plan and adjusting as necessary to meet patient goals.
  • Ensure accurate billing for services rendered and maintain documentation that supports therapy service provision.
  • Effectively manage patient care plans through timely collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and physician involvement when required.
  • Supervise and delegate care to assistants and support staff in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy within long-term care, post-acute, hospital, or home care settings is preferred.
  • Must hold a valid physical therapist license in Nebraska or a compact state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
