Position Summary

The Senior Process Improvement Specialist will spearhead continuous enhancement initiatives, deliver technical assistance including process evaluations, troubleshooting, and optimization, and oversee the execution, sustainability, and advancement of the Performance System at the operational level.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a catalyst for organizational transformation in the implementation of the Performance System.
- Lead the establishment and maintenance of Continuous Improvement (CI)/Performance System management tools, including dashboards and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics.
- Provide management system training to promote CI/Performance System adoption and cultural transformation.
- Define and support baseline Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assist leadership in establishing regional, financial, and operational objectives.
- Develop and manage enhancement plans through gap analysis to propose and execute process improvements.
- Drive and support initiatives focused on cost reduction, productivity enhancement, and safety/quality improvements.
- Recommend enhancements to the management system based on practical implementation insights.
- Assist plant teams in achieving sustainability objectives utilizing CI methodologies.
- Engage in regional and local meetings to share best practices for operational success.
- Assess new technologies and concepts to boost process efficiency, facility safety, and product quality.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, brainstorming workshops, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) studies, and other CI activities.
- Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to identify critical success factors and implement improvement goals.
- Serve as a change agent to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and performance orientation.
- Collaborate with plant leadership to disseminate CI methodologies and promote cultural change.
- Educate employees on CI and Performance System principles.
- Mentor and coach plant teams to ensure effective execution of CI initiatives.
- Support the development of skill matrices as part of the management framework.Qualifications
Essential:
- Demonstrated change management and influencing capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience in Process/Industrial Engineering.
- Training in Lean Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing Practices, and Statistical Process Control (Green Belt).
- Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and unit operations, including chemistry, heat and mass balances, mechanics, physical/chemical separation, and energy management.
- Strong familiarity with digital systems such as OEE, integrated action tracking, and KPI reporting.
Preferred:
- Experience in implementing lean management systems.
- Black Belt certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- 3-5 years of experience in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with OEE implementation, electronic documentation, or other digital process enhancement solutions.Required Attributes and Skills
