As a Clinical Nutrition Specialist, you will play a vital role in improving the overall health and wellness of our residents by assessing their nutritional needs and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create personalized nutrition care plans.


Key Responsibilities:

Utilize your clinical expertise to conduct assessments that identify residents' nutritional requirements and those at risk for nutritional deficiencies.

Engage with residents, their families, and other stakeholders to gather and update essential information for developing tailored care plans.

Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Perform regular meal evaluations and interact with staff and residents to confirm that all individuals receive appropriate food quantities, types, consistency, and frequency to uphold optimal nutritional standards.


Qualifications:

Required:
Must possess and maintain current dietitian registration from the Commission on Dietetics Registration.

Required:
All Clinical Nutrition Specialists must hold a valid certification and/or license in the state(s) where they practice.

Preferred:
Experience in nutrition documentation.
