Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead the technical aspects of our Precision team. This individual will be responsible for developing and delivering technical strategies, overseeing the translation of these strategies into actionable plans, and building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Help clients launch data-driven campaigns across display, video, social, mobile, and offline media channels.
- Develop and deliver technical strategies and point-of-views, as well as oversee the translation of these strategies into final audience recommendations and plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including analyzing their audience strategies and working with strategy and activation groups to lead business case development.
- Establish and maintain relationships with data and technology vendors, as well as internal agency counterparts.
- Responsible for creating education materials to keep the agency up-to-date on marketplace tools and technologies.
- Command a comprehensive understanding of marketing communications, which can be effectively translated into developing audience goals, objectives, and strategies.
- Motivate and manage the Precision team in the creation, development, and execution of programmatic and general media activations, solutions, and tactics.
- Support the VP/SVP in managing account profitability, identifying, assessing, and implementing strategic organizational capabilities and partner initiatives in a profitable manner.
- Demonstrate a deep technical understanding, as well as problem-solving and intervention skills when necessary.
- Understand agency business objectives above and beyond technical roles by actively participating in cross-agency projects.
- Bid strategy management, trafficking/placement oversight, and platform management.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of digital operations and media technology experience, preferably from a technology company or media agency or trading desk background.
- Strong background in interactive work, including DSPs, DMPs, mobile innovations, OLV cross-screen, data, and analytics.
- Experience using or launching data, attribution, or programmatic tools.
- Track record of building successful client relationships.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically.
- Self-starter with excellent team-oriented skills, able to interact with people at all levels of an organization.
- Significant experience in a service, delivery, and/or customer-focused organization.
- Ability to get things done through 'un-owned' resources.
- Outstanding motivational and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to delivering creative solutions and aligning team members behind creative solutions.
