The Senior Manager for Global Marketplace and Ecommerce Compliance, focusing on Online Content, plays a pivotal role in collaborating with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to create and execute scalable solutions for ecommerce item initiatives.
This position is essential in facilitating business operations while minimizing risks.As a primary leader in our item policy implementation and development team, you will drive and enforce controls to prevent the listing and sale of non-compliant products. Reporting to the Director of Specialty Ethics and Compliance, you will actively contribute to our compliance program across various subject matter areas, including consumer protection and online content.

You will impress us if:- You possess a Juris Doctorate and/or experience in Legal, Consumer Protection, or Policy teams.

- You are familiar with ecommerce or marketplace sales platforms.

- You excel at simplifying complex subjects through effective communication.
- You are results-oriented and possess a proactive attitude.
Your contributions will include:
Policy Development - Collaborate with subject matter experts, legal teams, and business partners to identify compliance needs and establish controls and monitoring for our eCommerce platform.
Initiative Leadership - Take charge of one or more team objectives by analyzing challenges, defining the scope of work, and executing a strategic plan.
Technology Utilization - Learn to leverage the various tools and resources available to effectively manage workflows.
Strategic Relationship Building - Enhance relationships with subject matter experts, merchants, and other business partners to understand their operations and serve as a vital link between diverse organizations.
Excellence in Operations - Set a standard in managing KPIs, delivering quality results, presenting at all organizational levels, and fostering personal and team development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate or equivalent experience.
- Experience in creating and monitoring compliance controls.
- Prior experience in eCommerce is highly advantageous.

Live Better U is a Walmart-funded education benefit program available to full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club locations.
Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates, with all tuition, books, and fees covered by Walmart.Eligibility requirements apply to certain benefits and may vary based on job classification and length of employment. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00, with additional compensation opportunities including annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
