Role Summary
The Guest Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic standards of our apartments. Key responsibilities include preparing units for guests through thorough cleanliness assessments, testing WiFi and TV equipment, coordinating with housekeeping services, and ensuring all units are in pristine condition. Following the Design Guide, the Specialist guarantees the appropriate arrangement of furnishings and household items while managing guest supply levels. This position also involves participating in an on-call program to address guest concerns, including lockouts and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exemplify Furnished Quarters' Core Values in all interactions with guests, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Conduct cleanliness evaluations and ensure furniture is arranged according to our Design and Housekeeping Standards.
  • Collaborate with the housekeeping vendor's management team to uphold cleanliness and design standards, reporting any issues to management.
  • Perform minor preventative maintenance in apartments, including repairs and touch-ups.
  • Identify and report any damages or maintenance needs to management.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to cable, WiFi, and other equipment.
  • Manage inventory of warehouse supplies and guest amenities, reporting counts to management.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with building staff.
  • Update case information in SalesForce using handheld devices.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call duties as needed.
  • Safeguard company and guest property by maintaining custody of equipment and supplies.
  • Travel to various worksites during business hours.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude towards clients and colleagues.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist the warehouse with shipping and receiving tasks.
  • Accurately process requisitions and work orders.
  • Move materials from storage to designated locations as needed.
  • Record quantities of materials received or distributed.
  • Return equipment to the appropriate providers.
  • Ensure cleanliness in warehouse storage areas.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in hospitality operations preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld devices.
  • Understanding of cleaning principles and standard cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to travel using public transportation to various locations.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle for specific roles.
  • Proficient in understanding and following instructions in English.
  • Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call duties.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without accommodation.
  • Regularly required to communicate with staff, vendors, and customers.
  • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
