Job Title: General Manager

The General Manager is a key leadership role at Wahoos Fish Tacos (WFTLV) that presents an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership position in our company.

As a General Manager, you will play a crucial role in the success of your assigned store by ensuring we meet all the operational and financial requirements.

This position will allow you to build and develop a team in your home location, creating a succession plan to support your future endeavors with the Company.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the business, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and activities.
  • Maintain top quality assurance and Guest Service Standards, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Focus on building Sales and Forecasting future performance, analyzing data to inform business decisions.
  • Plan and organize your own schedule, maximizing productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain optimal results on Key Performance Indicators (Gaming Revenue, Retail Revenue, Labor cost, food cost) by implementing strategies to grow the business.
  • Create a development plan for existing personnel, including Kitchen Supervisors, Shift Supervisors, Leads, Bar Manager (if applicable), and bartenders.
  • Delegate responsibilities and tasks to team members, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
  • Remain accountable for all profit and loss figures, making informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Oversee key hiring and talent development, as well as counseling when necessary.
  • Find new ways to promote the restaurant through community outreach and engagement.
  • Attend weekly meetings with Senior Management, monthly meetings with Management Team, and weekly store-level meetings, prioritizing self-growth and development.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to deal tactfully and professionally with guests, co-workers, and the public, promoting a positive and friendly team-work attitude.
  • Promote a positive and friendly team-work attitude in the execution of all duties, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to follow directions and remain calm during emergency situations, demonstrating composure under pressure.
  • Restricted Gaming Knowledge and Experience, with a focus on driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Reasoning skills that include the ability to understand issues and process information for the purpose of giving and receiving feedback and instructions.
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Physical and Mental Demands:
  • Able to be mobile and perform the physical requirements of the job, including bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions.
  • Able to move intermittently throughout the workday, prioritizing productivity and efficiency.
  • Able to communicate orally, effectively conveying ideas and information to team members and guests.
  • Able to understand, remember, and follow basic instructions and guidelines, performing basic operations with accuracy and attention to detail.
