Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Project Manager/Estimator to oversee construction projects, utilizing company resources to ensure satisfied customers, increased productivity, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate logs of change orders, subcontractors, RFIs, and contingencies.
  • Collaborate with Labor Superintendents to ensure labor plans are executed.
  • Create MEP schedules and manloading charts for all projects.
  • Submit timely and accurate estimates and change order quotations.
  • Communicate with purchasing and subcontractors to secure schedules, scopes, and prices.
  • Promote a safe working environment.
  • Satisfy customer needs to develop repeat business.
  • Manage Design Build or Bid Spec Projects.
  • Estimate electrical projects, including bid spec, public, private, and design build.
  • Assist in Electrical Engineering/Engineering Consultation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum + years of experience with commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.
  • Experience managing $100K to $1M projects.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical coordination.
  • Project financial tracking and reporting experience required.
  • Experience monitoring labor performance for productivity tracking and progress monitoring.
  • Knowledge in generating construction schedules and updating them.
  • Knowledge in reading plans and specifications for material ordering and estimating change orders.
  • Ability to order, track, and expedite MEP and specialty items for timely delivery.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing multi-disciplined projects, a plus.
