Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Director of Product Management to spearhead our Policy Administration System (PAS) and enhance the experiences of our internal stakeholders. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with diverse teams including engineers, designers, data analysts, and product marketers to develop and launch features that elevate user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the PAS, establishing clear objectives and key results (OKRs) to gauge product success.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a diverse team of skilled product managers, fostering an inclusive and equitable work environment.
  • Oversee the technical requirements and implementation for various projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Enhance operational efficiency in a dynamic setting, promoting innovative solutions and adaptability.
  • Conduct usability studies and competitive analyses to inform product development and prioritization.
  • Adopt industry-leading practices in product management and development.
  • Provide expert guidance to marketing and other teams as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years in product management, particularly within personal auto insurance or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the auto insurance industry, with a solid grasp of both traditional and insurtech products.
  • Hands-on experience in managing product requirements, workflows, and financial transactions within personal auto insurance.
  • Proven track record in launching personal auto insurance products across various states, with a comprehensive understanding of regulatory differences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead product development with remote teams, navigating cultural and time zone challenges.
  • Experience in crafting and presenting roadmaps to stakeholders and securing buy-in from senior leadership.
  • Skilled in identifying market trends and articulating unique selling propositions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complex user needs and business concepts for technical teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the overall well-being of our employees, including flexible medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability options.

Salary Range: $178,000 - $250,000, determined by location, experience, and comparative earnings within similar roles.
