Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Operations Manager to oversee the fiscal and administrative operations of a medium-sized academic library. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library's budget, supervising staff, and facilitating large projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the library's budget and oversee financial operations
  • Supervise staff and conduct performance reviews
  • Facilitate large projects and strategic planning
  • Develop and maintain the library's budget and fiscal plans
  • Oversee communications and promotions for the library
  • Coordinate and manage the library's Advisory Council
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in administrative operations or a related field
  • Experience managing budgets and supervising staff
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Experience managing fiscal and administrative operations in a medium-sized academic library
  • Expertise in budget development and fiscal planning
  • Experience with HR processes and staff supervision
  • Experience with project management and strategic planning
