About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team at Saft America, Inc. as a Sales Manager for the Eastern US Region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our customer base in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the industrial and infrastructure markets, with a focus on stationary battery solutions.
  • Territory Management: Optimize territory coverage by creating and executing growth strategies, managing rep performance, and ensuring proper training and support.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, including consultants, engineering firms, and EPCs.
  • Technical Presentations: Develop and deliver technical presentations to influence engineering specifications and establish relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Proposal Development: Lead the strategy for several proposals per year, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven work experience as a B2B outside sales representative, preferably in the electrical solutions or other technology product market.
  • Skills: Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proven track record in sales and business development.
  • Travel: Approximately 50% of the time.
