Job OverviewPetro Towery, Inc. is seeking a skilled Environmental Testing Specialist to join our Compliance Testing Team. As an Environmental Testing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Underground Storage Tank (UST) equipment.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in testing and evaluating UST components, as well as operating specific testing equipment according to EPA guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct periodic testing and evaluation of UST components
  • Carry out the testing of all engineered equipment including spill buckets, overfills devices, tanks and lines, sumps, leak detectors, and cathodic protection
  • Fill out completed test forms and submit to supervisor
  • Operate specific testing equipment according to EPA guidelines
Requirements
  • A minimum of a high school diploma/GED
  • Experience in a similar environment or equivalent in college or vocational education
  • Valid Driver License, with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to read and interpret necessary training manuals
