Sleep Testing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Sleep Testing Specialist to join our team at Reid Health. As a key member of our polysomnography department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time position working 40 hours per week on night shifts. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Polysomnography Technician with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities- Perform sleep testing in accordance with patient needs and Provider orders
- Provide patient education and ensure chart documentation is completed in a timely manner
- Assist with front office duties and other responsibilities as required
- Maintain confidentiality and safety of patients, employees, and providers
- Monitor In Basket tasks and e-mails daily
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve quality outcomes and improve patient satisfaction
- Registered Polysomnography Technician certification or willingness to obtain
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- 10 hours of CEU's annually to remain current in practice
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
