Job Overview

Hepaco Inc is the premier environmental and emergency services company in the Eastern United States, covering 45+ regional locations. We specialize in emergency response, remediation, and industrial, marine, and waste services.

As an Environmental Remediation Specialist, you'll be part of our field operations team, performing various tasks associated with industrial, emergency response, and remediation projects.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated hourly wage for this position is $18-21 per hour. Our benefits package includes a competitive PTO program, company-paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options, as well as a 401k plan with company matching contributions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A strong focus on safety and quality
  • The ability to operate a variety of tools and equipment
  • The capacity for physical labor associated with clean-up activities, sample collection, waste removal, and other remediation tasks
  • The ability to successfully complete an OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training program
Additional Requirements

You must pass HEPACO's pre-employment background check, physical exam, and drug screening.

Work Environment

This position regularly requires intermittent sitting, standing, walking, running, climbing, squatting, and kneeling. You will need physical strength and dexterity to perform the required tasks, occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds or more with assistance.
