Environmental Remediation Specialist

As an Environmental Remediation Specialist with Hepaco Inc., you will be a vital member of our team focused on environmental and emergency services.
We are the premier environmental and emergency services company in the Eastern United States, covering 45+ regional locations.
Our expertise spans emergency response, remediation, industrial, marine, and waste services. We serve a diverse range of industries including transportation, utilities, energy, environmental consultants, industrial facilities, terminals, environmental service companies, general contractors, property owners, and the public sector through our Environmental and Remediation Services divisions.
The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong focus on safety and quality, be able to operate various tools and equipment, and perform physical labor associated with clean-up activities, sample collection, waste removal, and other remediation tasks.
You must also be capable of successfully completing an OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training program, which will be provided by the company.
Responsibilities- Perform clean-up activities, sample collection, and waste removal as part of environmental remediation projects
- Operate various tools and equipment, including steam cleaners, water lasers, cascade systems, chemical mixers, generators, air saws, drills, grinders, cutting torches, etc.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
The salary for this position is estimated at $18-$21 per hour, based on industry standards and market rates.
