**Job Overview**

We're seeking an experienced Aerospace Sales Leader to drive growth with tier-1 suppliers. As a key member of our sales team, you'll lead a group of up to 10 sales and customer service representatives (CSRs), providing leadership in sales strategy, customer relationship management, and team development.

About the Role

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative culture and conducting regular coaching sessions.
  • Account Management: Develop strong relationships with key accounts, understanding their needs and delivering effective solutions.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth with tier 1 suppliers, identifying new business opportunities within the aerospace and defense sectors.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market demands, using insights to refine sales approaches and identify emerging opportunities.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in aerospace or a related industry, with experience in managing teams and working with tier 1 or defense contractor accounts.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a sales team effectively, with strong team-building, mentoring, and organizational skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • Aerospace Knowledge: Deep understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Compensation

$110,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience. Plus benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
