**Aerospace Sales Manager Job Description**
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Aerospace Sales Manager to lead our sales team in driving growth with tier-1 suppliers. This role involves managing a team of up to 10 sales and customer service representatives (CSRs), providing leadership in sales strategy, customer relationship management, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative culture, conduct regular coaching sessions, and provide guidance on sales strategy and customer relationship management.
- Account Management: Develop strong relationships with key accounts, understand their unique needs, and deliver effective solutions.
- Sales Strategy: Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth with tier 1 suppliers, identifying new business opportunities within the aerospace and defense sectors.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in aerospace or a related industry, with experience in managing teams and working with tier 1 or defense contractor accounts.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a sales team effectively, with strong team-building, mentoring, and organizational skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Aerospace Knowledge: Deep understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Salary Range
$120,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience. Plus benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
