Sales Manager for Aerospace Growth

The ideal candidate will bring deep aerospace industry knowledge, strong people skills, and a proven track record in team building and organizational leadership. You will be responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth with tier 1 suppliers, identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities within the aerospace and defense sectors.
Job Description:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support a team of inside and outside sales and CSR employees, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Account Management: Develop and strengthen relationships with key accounts, understanding their unique needs and coordinating internally to deliver effective solutions.
- Sales Strategy: Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth with tier 1 suppliers, identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities within the aerospace and defense sectors.
- Team Development: Oversee training, onboarding, and development initiatives to ensure team members have the technical knowledge and soft skills needed to succeed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in aerospace or a related industry, with experience in managing teams, and a record of success working with tier 1 or defense contractor accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a sales team effectively, with strong team-building, mentoring, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
