Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Property and Casualty Risk Engineer to join our team at Chubb. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will provide expert advice to clients on risk management and loss prevention strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site risk assessments and evaluations to identify potential hazards and recommend control measures.
  • Develop and implement risk management plans to mitigate losses and improve client safety.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their operations and provide tailored risk engineering services.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on risk assessments and recommendations.
  • Engage with clients to discuss and implement risk control measures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in property, casualty, and worker's compensation insurance risk management and loss prevention functions.
  • Strong proficiency in hazard identification skills, with an emphasis on Property, General Liability, Products, & Worker's Compensation coverages.
  • Ability to advise and present to clients on safety-related topics.
  • Comprehensive understanding of existing exposures and safety controls for property, business interruption, product liability, workers' compensation, and commercial vehicle lines of business.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Life Sciences knowledge and industrial hygiene knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Relevant professional designations or certifications such as CSP, CFPS, CIH, or ARM.
