Property Risk Management Specialist

Job Summary

The primary focus of this position is to provide our underwriting team with a comprehensive understanding of a client's operations and to counsel clients on best practices related to their existing operations and programs (occupational safety, fleet management, facility maintenance, business continuity, product safety, etc.).

The individual will assist clients with identifying hazards within their facilities and, as appropriate, provide recommendations for improved practices. The individual will also discuss and provide Chubb's Risk Engineering services to support a client's needs and/or improve the account's loss history (i.e., business continuity planning, employee safety training, safety committee support, product safety review and evaluation of building fire protection systems).

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling client visits/virtual meetings to assess hazards and controls
  • Processing client correspondence and inquiries
  • Completing comprehensive reports that evaluate hazards and controls for adequate risk selection, pricing, and application of underwriting techniques
  • Coordinating with claims and underwriting partners to ensure exceptional service and consistent support for satisfactory risk selection and client retention

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel may be required throughout the region as business needs warrant. Overnight travel is minimal and may be required approximately 2-5 nights per year.
