Core Duties:

Hazard Evaluation:
Conduct thorough evaluations to pinpoint potential risks and weaknesses in equipment and structures.

Assessment and Verification:
Formulate and execute assessment and verification protocols to gauge the condition and performance of equipment and structures.

Data Monitoring and Interpretation:
Continuously monitor and interpret data from assessments and verifications to assess the integrity and dependability of assets.

Maintenance Strategy:

Create maintenance strategies and timelines based on assessment outcomes to ensure the ongoing safe operation of assets.


Incident Investigation:
Examine equipment malfunctions and incidents to ascertain root causes and devise recommendations to avert future occurrences.

Regulatory Adherence:
Ensure alignment with pertinent industry standards, codes, and regulations regarding integrity and safety.

Record Keeping and Reporting:
Maintain precise documentation of assessments, verifications, and maintenance activities, and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.

Coordination:
Facilitate the execution of coating activities as directed by the Mechanical Integrity Engineer.

Supervision:
Oversee and manage coatings teams in offshore environments.

Work Documentation:
Generate and/or review work documentation and arrange logistics to fulfill work documentation requirements (equipment, materials, personnel, etc.).

Database Management:
Sustain program databases (coating surveys, equipment, materials).

Status Updates:
Create status updates and other necessary reports.

Compliance Support:
Assist in efforts to meet Contract Management requirements (i.e., interface plan).

Financial Oversight:
Manage program costs (SR/SE, cost tracking, accruals).

Site Visits:
Conduct regular site visits to monitor the status of the program.

Candidate Qualifications

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline, such as mechanical, civil, or materials engineering.

Professional Experience:
Prior experience in a related capacity, such as reliability engineering, asset integrity management, or materials engineering. Familiarity with risk evaluation, assessment techniques, and incident investigation is advantageous.

Certifications:

Relevant professional certifications in integrity engineering, such as API 510 (Pressure Vessel Inspector), API 570 (Piping Inspector), API 653 (Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector), or NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) certifications.


Technical Proficiencies:

Strong technical capabilities in areas such as structural analysis, materials science, corrosion management, and non-destructive testing (NDT) are vital. Familiarity with relevant software tools and technologies for data analysis and modeling may also be necessary.


Analytical Abilities:
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities are essential for identifying and addressing integrity challenges and formulating effective solutions.

Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ):

A robust commitment to safety and a comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and best practices are crucial for ensuring the integrity and reliability of assets while safeguarding personnel and the environment.


Language Proficiency:
Proficiency in the English language.
