Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead our design teams. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of construction processes and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage design teams of 5-10 members, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Efficiently allocate and manage company resources to maximize project efficiency.
  • Oversee the development of structural designs, ensuring accuracy, safety, and adherence to client specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect construction progress, assess structural integrity, and ensure compliance with design plans.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design team members.
  • Utilize problem-solving and analytical skills to address challenges and improve design processes.
  • Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, calculations, and specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably within consulting engineering.
  • Proven experience in managing design teams and leading projects to successful completion.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Creative and detail-oriented, with the ability to develop innovative design solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
  • Physically capable of visiting construction sites and clients' facilities.
