About the Job

MU Health Care is seeking a skilled Clinical Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality improvement team, you will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of care delivered to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical quality improvement initiatives across the UMHC system.
  • Consistently apply continuous quality improvement methodologies to identify and design improvement strategies, facilitate team progress, and disseminate quantifiable results.
  • Ensure training for and integration of clinical quality, teamwork, and patient safety initiatives throughout all MUHC areas.
  • Meet governmental and regulatory requirements for quality of care and patient safety by staying current with relevant requirements and assisting with survey processes as requested.
  • Participate in innovation and discovery related to care delivery, electronic medical record documentation, or other clinical quality and patient safety improvements.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline.
  • Minimum three years of experience in clinical quality improvement or patient safety activities.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
