About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Quality Specialist - Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at HealthEcareers - Client. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance: Remain current on home health regulations, standards, and guidelines, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • QAPI Program Management: Coordinate, organize, implement, and evaluate the QAPI program according to all company standards, professional standards, and identified agency needs.
  • Clinical Documentation Review: Perform audits and analysis of patient care and clinical documentation, identify areas for improvement, and implement plans of improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Complete data collection and analysis to ensure regulatory compliance related to the Home Health agency clinical management team.
  • Quality Improvement Activities: Complete agency Quality Improvement activities according to the agency QI plan.
  • Education and Training: Collaborate with the Management Team to provide education based on audits, regulatory updates, policy changes, and other identified agency needs.
  • Employee Orientation and Training: Assist with orientation, education, and training of home hospice employees.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program; BSN preferred.
  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of South Carolina or compact multi-state license.
  • Experience: 3-5 years clinical experience in Nursing required, management experience preferred.
  • Home Health Experience: Home health experience with knowledge of Medicare guidelines required.
  • ICD-10 Coding Knowledge: Knowledge/certification in ICD-10 coding preferred.
