About the RoleAs a Clinical Quality Specialist - RN Home Health, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality, compliance, and satisfaction of our services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Remaining current on home health regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Coordinating, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the QAPI program according to company standards, professional standards, laws, and regulations.
- Performing audits and analysis of patient care and clinical documentation, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing plans of improvement.
- Completing data collection and analysis to ensure regulatory compliance related to the Home Health agency clinical management team.
- Collaborating with the Management Team to provide education based on audits, regulatory updates, policy changes, and other identified agency needs.
- Assisting with orientation, education, and training of home hospice employees.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A graduate degree from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program; BSN preferred.
- An active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of South Carolina or compact multi-state license.
- 3-5 years of clinical experience in Nursing, with management experience preferred.
- Home health experience with knowledge of Medicare guidelines required.
- Knowledge/certification in ICD-10 coding preferred.
