Job Description

Ferguson Construction Company is a leading General Contractor with over 100 years of experience in the construction industry. Our company has a strong presence in the heavy and light industrial, commercial, healthcare, and institutional markets.

Job Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to coordinate with project superintendents, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, including cost control and schedule management.
  • Coordinate with project superintendents and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Manage and track project expenses, including billings from subcontractors and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, including MS Project.
  • Experience with construction management software, such as Procore.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
