Production Team Coordinator

\rAbout this Role
\rWe are seeking a skilled Production Team Coordinator to coordinate, deploy and lead a diverse team of operators and leads to meet daily quality and production goals across the portfolio of diagnostic products in the veterinary, dairy and water quality industries.
\rDuties and Responsibilities
\r- \r
- Cordinate effective staffing assignments across multiple production lines\r
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Quality Control and Engineering Technical staff to ensure product quality and availability\r
- Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities\r
- Manage staff, assign work, monitor activities, evaluate performance and manage critical issues\r
- Create procedures and documentation to support process changes, new products, and new equipment\r
- Identify and recommend measures to improve operator training and development, production methods, equipment performance, and product quality\r
- Create and present quality and production reports for management peers and superiors\r
- Lead functional teams to drive quality and productivity improvements\r
Requirements
\rTo be successful, you will need:
\r- \r
- A High School diploma and an equivalent combination of further education, training and leadership experience\r
- Professional and positive verbal and written communication skills\r
- The ability and desire to lead, direct and delegate a diverse production team\r
- Proven effectiveness of teaching and coaching others\r
- Leadership ability to build team engagement and employee trust results in achieving common goals\r
- Strong computer skills include experience using SAP (or a similar inventory management system) and proficiency with MS Office Suite\r
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills\r
- Planning and execution skills include strong analytical abilities\r
- Experience Leading Continuous Improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing) is preferred\r
