Amentum is actively seeking qualified candidates for multiple positions as Training Specialists (Intermediate) to support the Product Director Sensors – Aerial Intelligence (PD SAI) initiatives.

This project aims to deliver comprehensive services to the U.S. Army, specifically under the U.S. Army Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEW&S). The services encompass programmatic and business management, engineering support, and acquisition assistance to enhance the capabilities of PD SAI and its associated Product Managers. This role will involve close collaboration with Government project leads within PD SAI.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Deliver training on PD SAI program training devices, computer programming, electronics, and networks to personnel who will operate and support these systems.

2. Create training materials and conduct instructional sessions on the proper operation and maintenance of PD SAI programs for various Department of Defense agencies.

3. Provide both resident and on-site technical support and training, ensuring effective operation and maintenance of assigned systems for installations both within and outside the continental United States.

4. Instruct on the operational theory and practical use of complete systems, including electronics, programming, and troubleshooting techniques, ensuring readiness for system repairs.

5. Develop new training resources such as lesson plans, Program of Instructions (POIs), student guides, and training aids.

6. Foster early and ongoing relationships with project managers, contractors, and relevant stakeholders during the development of training materials.

7. Keep training materials updated and relevant by collaborating closely with maintenance and engineering teams.

8. Address inquiries and resolve issues raised from the field.

9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. (Four years of relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements).

• A minimum of five years of training experience in military systems is required (four years of military service at the E6 level or higher may count as military training experience).

• An active Secret Clearance is mandatory. Note that U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Government Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Previous experience with PD SAI or PEO IEW&S systems/projects is advantageous.
