The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks a highly qualified candidate for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. This role will focus on clinical and didactic instruction, supervision of medical students, surgery residents, and colorectal surgery fellows.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert care for patients presenting with colorectal concerns
- Teach and mentor medical students, surgery residents, and colorectal surgery fellows
- Conduct research or scholarship related to colorectal surgery, including basic science or clinical research
Requirements
- MD or MD/Ph.D. degree or equivalent
- Certification by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery or foreign equivalent
- Experience in robotic surgical procedures preferred
