Colorectal Surgeon HUP Position

The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks a highly skilled Colorectal Surgeon to join its faculty as an Assistant Professor in the non-tenure clinician educator track.
Expertise in colon and rectal surgery is required. Applicants must hold an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree or equivalent, and be certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery or foreign equivalent, or eligible for such certification.
Teaching responsibilities may include clinical and didactic instruction, supervision of medical students, surgery residents, and colorectal surgery fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may involve care for patients with colorectal concerns.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include basic science or clinical research related to colorectal surgery.
This position will be housed at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, a flagship institution of the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
Applicants with robotic surgical experience are preferred.
