The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks a highly skilled Colorectal Surgeon to join our team as an Assistant Professor in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Expertise in colorectal surgery is required, and applicants must hold an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree or equivalent. Certification by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery or foreign equivalent is also necessary.
Teaching responsibilities may include clinical and didactic instruction, as well as supervision of medical students, surgery residents, and colorectal surgery fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may involve caring for patients with colorectal concerns.
This position will be based at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, a flagship of the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
Applicants with experience in robotic surgery are preferred.
