Donor Services Technician Driver

The Blood Connection is seeking a dedicated Donor Services Technician Driver to play a pivotal role in our mobile blood drive operations. As a key member of our team, you'll register donors, conduct assessments, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register donors and conduct assessments to ensure eligibility
  • Provide educational material and answer donor questions
  • Operate a specialized mobile blood donation bus to various locations, setting up donation sites and maintaining a clean and efficient environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive donor experience
  • Communicate effectively with donors, guests, and staff to ensure a smooth and efficient donation process
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Customer service experience
  • Valid Driver's License with no major infractions and dependable transportation
  • Class A or B CDL License with no major infractions
  • Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously to patrons, donors, sponsors, and co-workers
  • Ability to work with all levels and in a diverse work environment
Physical Demands:
  • Lifting and/or pulling/pushing up to 50 pounds
  • Sitting, standing, or walking for an extended period of time
  • Bending and twisting
