About the Role:
Georgia Hospice Care is seeking a dedicated Child Life Specialist to join our team. As a Child Life Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to children and their families. Your expertise will help create a supportive environment, promoting emotional and psychological well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients to identify psychosocial, financial, and environmental needs.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in patient care conferences to share clinical suggestions and ensure continuity of care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and CCLS certification from the Child Life Council.
- 2 years of experience as a Child Life Specialist in a healthcare setting.
- Reliable transportation and ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
