At BioLife Plasma Services, we are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for our donors. As a Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our plasma donations.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for screening new and repeat donors, taking and recording donor vital signs and finger stick results, and using our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen donors for eligibility and collect vital signs and finger stick results
- Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records
- Answer phones and greet donors in a friendly and professional manner
- Work collaboratively with the Plasma Center Manager to identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs.
