About the Role

BDR Solutions, a leading provider of IT expertise and solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Agile Scrum Delivery Team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and systems, as well as supporting deployments of applications, software updates, and code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage System Security Patching and Maintenance: Ensure the security and integrity of our cloud environment by implementing and maintaining security patches and updates.
  • Monitor Security Scans and Remediate Findings: Conduct regular security scans to identify vulnerabilities and work with developers and architects to remediate findings.
  • Support System Owners and Architects: Collaborate with system owners and architects to create and maintain documentation, including cloud diagrams, security plans, and standard procedures.
  • Perform User Account Management Tasks: Manage user accounts across multiple environments to ensure secure access and compliance.
  • Maintain Azure DevOps Build and Release Pipelines: Ensure the smooth operation of our Azure DevOps build and release pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery.
  • Manage and Monitor Configuration Changes: Enforce the change management process to ensure that configuration changes are properly documented and approved.
  • Work with Managers to Coordinate Build and Release Activities: Collaborate with managers to coordinate build and release activities to ensure timely and successful deployments.
  • Optimize and Improve CM Process and Tools: Continuously evaluate and improve our configuration management process and tools to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Related Field: A degree in information technology or a related field is required, or 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • 8+ Years of Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, system security, and configuration management is required.
  • Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and documentation.
  • Ability to Work Independently in an Agile Environment: The ability to work independently in an Agile environment is critical for success in this role.
  • Ability to Create and Provide Detailed Documentation: The ability to create and provide detailed documentation is essential for effective knowledge sharing and compliance.
  • Experience in Azure and Azure DevOps: Experience in Azure and Azure DevOps, particularly with Azure EntraID and ADO account management, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with.NET, C#, and Javascript: Familiarity with.NET, C#, and Javascript is essential for effective collaboration with developers and architects.
  • Experience in Configuration Management in a Cloud Environment: Experience in configuration management in a cloud environment is critical for success in this role.
  • Familiarity with Workflow Management Tools: Familiarity with workflow management tools, such as Azure DevOps, Jira, etc., is highly desirable.
