About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Operations Analyst to join our team at Jellyfish. As a key member of our revenue operations team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving our revenue operations processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue recognition across a portfolio of products, clients, and services, ensuring accurate revenue results.
  • Report trend analysis for a portfolio of products, clients, and services, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Client Project set-up, including contract analysis and document process guides, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to determine applicable IFRS standards, including training material for finance, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Support audits on existing processes, identifying risk areas, and assisting with resolving challenges to ensure process improvement.
  • Identify revenue and billing engagements that do not align with Jellyfish's commercial framework, and develop strategies to address these discrepancies.
  • Support the General Ledger team with Month End revenue & net revenue reconciliations and resolving queries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Support the Accounts Payable team with cost of sale reconciliations, ensuring all cost of sales are correctly recorded.
  • Work with Accounts receivable to assist with client account reconciliations, ensuring revenue and billing information is accurate and aligning to contract commercials/payment milestones.
  • Support the FP&A team with the reporting of client revenue and net revenue on a monthly basis, providing insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of revenue recognition, billing operations, and accounting standards and procedures.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of the marketing, digital, or media industry and its services.
  • Ability to ensure deadlines are met throughout the month-end timetable.
  • You'll be a whizz at using data and market insights to inform decisions and develop business strategies.
