Job Title: Business Office Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Office Manager to join our team at Hollywood Premier. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our business office, including financial management, compliance, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all financial operations, including cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including financial and administrative requirements.
  • Supervise and participate in the monthly close of financials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process and manage billing, including timely and accurate submission to payers.
  • Monitor and coordinate collection activity on past due accounts, ensuring targets are met.
  • Prepare and submit A/R review documentation and monthly follow-up reports to corporate office and Administrator.
  • Oversee payroll function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and audit all salary increases, retroactive pay, and benefits.
  • Manage the Resident Trust Account, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure all business records and files are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years' experience in a healthcare billing environment, preferably in long-term care.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in business or accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Public Notary preferred.
  • Ability to understand and implement healthcare reimbursement, billing, and accounting principles.
  • Ability to understand, control, and track direct spending and labor budgets.
