Position Overview


The Head of Human Resources Operations will oversee the strategic direction and management of all human resources functions within the organization. This role requires a seasoned professional with a robust background in human resources management, particularly in co-worker relations.


Key Responsibilities


1. Lead and cultivate a participative and empowered workplace culture.

2. Ensure compliance with human resource management principles, practices, and procedures.

3. Maintain expertise in merit systems, including job content, qualifications, and wage administration.

4. Utilize statistical methods and data collection techniques to inform decision-making.

5. Prepare detailed reports and effectively communicate findings and recommendations.

6. Supervise and coordinate the activities of professional, technical, and clerical staff.

7. Foster strong working relationships and exercise sound judgment in all interactions.

8. Stay informed on relevant laws and regulations impacting human resources.


Qualifications


1. A degree from an accredited institution in Business, Public Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field is required.

2. A Master’s degree is preferred.


Certifications


1. Preferred certifications include SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP from the Society of Human Resource Managers.

2. HRCI certifications such as PHR or SPHR are also preferred.
