Job Overview

This role involves engaging with clients to facilitate the mortgage application process. As a key player in the lending team, you will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout the loan origination journey. Your work hours will typically align with standard business operations, and flexibility may be required to accommodate client schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the primary liaison for borrowers, guiding them through the loan application process and addressing any inquiries they may have.

- Proactively generate leads and cultivate a personal client portfolio, while also leveraging leads provided by the organization.

- Stay informed about the latest loan products and financial services to better assist clients in making informed decisions.

- Achieve or surpass production targets set by management, while maintaining regular communication regarding your progress.

- Address and resolve issues that may arise during the loan process, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties:

- Promote company offerings through various outreach methods, including phone calls, emails, and networking events.

- Identify potential clients and decision-makers within organizations, setting up meetings to discuss their lending needs.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and presenting tailored solutions.

- Navigate objections and concerns with clients, employing effective negotiation techniques to reach satisfactory outcomes.

- Maintain accurate records and follow up with clients to ensure their needs are met consistently.

- Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill client requirements and enhance service delivery.

- Participate in industry events and seminars to identify new business opportunities and enhance professional knowledge.

- Gather necessary documentation for loan applications and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

- Analyze financial data and credit histories to assess loan eligibility and risk.

- Provide clear explanations of loan options and terms to clients, ensuring they understand their choices.

- Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively, maintaining a positive client experience.

- Work closely with underwriters and processing teams to facilitate smooth loan closings.

Position Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred.

- Proficient in computer applications relevant to mortgage processing.

- A minimum of three years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer in the financial services sector.

- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and adapt to changing demands.

- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and effective time management skills.

- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the company’s reputation.

- Participation in regular team meetings to discuss performance and strategies for improvement.
