Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be responsible for originating and processing mortgage loans, building relationships with clients, and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and process mortgage loans, ensuring timely and accurate completion of loan applications
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Meet sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, processing, and closing, to ensure seamless loan processing
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase loan volume and revenue
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on loan activity and sales performance

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred; college degree desired
  • Minimum of three years' recent work experience as a full-time Mortgage Loan Officer in the banking industry
  • Excellent customer service skills, written and oral communication skills, and ability to demonstrate control, flexibility, and maintain quality and high productivity when dealing with customers and changing work demand
  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Office, Mortgage Loan Applications/Software)
  • Encompass experience desired

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and targets. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
