KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Regional Sales Leader, you will strategize and implement sales initiatives aimed at enhancing market presence with both current and potential clients in the Snow & Ice Division. This may involve leveraging existing or new distribution networks to generate additional business opportunities.

  • Accountable for sustaining and expanding business within the Snow & Ice Division
  • Engage with relevant accounts in your designated territory (OEMs, truck upfitters, end users, etc.)
  • Gather market insights, customer data, and competitive analysis specific to the snow and ice sector
  • Comprehend technical specifications related to truck-mounted hydraulic systems and electronic controls
  • Familiarity with municipal procurement processes in the vocational truck market to position the company effectively
  • Collaborate with the Technology Solutions Group to develop tailored product offerings for clients
  • Coordinate with local field sales managers to ensure comprehensive market coverage
  • Translate system solutions across various disciplines including engineering, operations, IT, sales, and equipment specialists
  • Participate in trade shows as necessary and assist in organizing events for assigned markets
  • Provide training to clients as required
  • Assist in diagnosing system issues related to company products
  • Utilize company software and sales tools (e.g., CRM)
  • Complete application checklist documents for custom engineered system quotes
  • Submit account applications for credit assessments
  • Willingness to reside within the sales territory and travel extensively
  • Travel throughout your designated territory in the United States

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in fluid power, business, marketing, or related fields; or equivalent experience with knowledge of industry standards is required
  • IFPS fluid power certification is preferred
  • Potential for travel outside of the United States
  • Possession of a valid passport within 60 days of employment is necessary
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a sales-related role or equivalent industry exposure
  • Familiarity with heavy truck equipment and/or municipal sales is advantageous
  • Completion of Muncie Power Product and Application School will be required upon hiring
  • Ability to grasp abstract engineering and fluid power concepts
  • Strong computer and data analysis capabilities
  • Proficient in creating impactful customer and company presentations and reports
  • Willingness to travel for meetings, site visits, and customer engagements
  • Valid state driver's license is mandatory
  • Flexibility in work schedule is essential
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-driven with a curious mindset and a strong ambition to excel
