Strategic Product Development Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Product Development Manager at our locations in St. Paul, MN or Santa Clara, CA. In this role, you will contribute to the ongoing success and growth of our advanced vessel preparation therapies business by representing Upstream Global Marketing on cross-functional teams and collaborating closely with R&D to translate customer requirements into innovations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze voice of customer (VOC) input and monitor competitive activity to define market requirements and inform business plans
- Monitor, analyze, and evaluate product performance, domestic & international market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for our product/service
- Develop business cases for new opportunities, including defining market needs, financial modeling, data analysis, value proposition, and strategic fit assessments
- Partner with clinical, regulatory, R&D, and other functions to inform pipeline strategies
- Provide leadership by representing the customer with internal project teams and managing marketing aspects of projects involving cross-functional groups
- Prior experience and comfort presenting to, working with, and negotiating with cross-functional teams to execute global market strategies and actionable market plans to advance our business and generate value within our portfolio
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 8-10 years related experience, with at least one year of experience in marketing or product management, or MBA with 6 years related experience
- Product management experience in medical products or services preferred; strong presentation & communication skills, strategic planning, critical thinking, and analysis of market conditions
Estimated Salary Range: $144,100 - $288,300 per annum.
