Role Summary

Lighthouse CH is in search of dedicated and enthusiastic Behavioral Support Technicians to become integral members of our professional team. In this role, you will provide individualized ABA therapy to children with autism and other special needs, under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Your efforts will significantly impact the growth, development, and overall quality of life for the children and families you work with.

Key Responsibilities

As a Behavioral Support Technician at Lighthouse CH, your duties will encompass:

  • Implementing ABA therapy strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Conducting one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to each child's unique treatment plan.
  • Teaching and reinforcing essential social, communication, and behavioral skills within a structured and supportive environment.
  • Building a positive and engaging therapeutic rapport with clients to promote their independence and well-being.
  • Performing assessments, gathering data, and monitoring progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborating with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team members to evaluate progress, address any concerns, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Effectively communicating with parents and caregivers, providing updates on therapy objectives, progress, and strategies for skill generalization at home.
  • Maintaining precise and comprehensive documentation of therapy sessions, including progress notes and data collection.
  • Engaging in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your expertise in ABA therapy.

Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred but not mandatory.
