Warehouse Workers, LLC. is seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our maintenance team. As an Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing electrical, electronic, and mechanical work to ensure the smooth operation of our plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure Plant Safety: Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures. Take immediate action to correct and/or report any unsafe conditions and hazards.
- Electrical and Electronic Troubleshooting: Review electrical/electronic/mechanical malfunctions as they occur to determine cause, resolve the malfunction, and provide necessary preventative actions where possible.
- Maintenance and Repair: Monitor radio and respond to maintenance calls as needed. Review proposed equipment installations and modifications to plan and execute these upgrades.
- Computer System Maintenance: Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade the plant's computer systems used to operate, interface, and control the plant's equipment.
- Equipment Monitoring: Monitor plant equipment and facilities to discover and prevent potential problems and provide for equipment obsolescence.
- Emergency Repairs: Handle emergency repairs as quickly as possible to minimize downtime.
- Support and Coverage: Support emergency troubleshooting and repair requirements on a call-in basis. Support 24-hour shift maintenance vacation coverage on an as needed basis.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate records on work completed and maintain and update equipment documentation to facilitate future maintenance support efforts.
- Employee Safety: Ensure that electrical dangers are minimized for employees.
- Production Support: Support the operation team in meeting and achieving production goals set forth by management.
- Training and Development: Work with operating crews to learn how the equipment operates to enhance troubleshooting and repair efforts. Follow all federal, state, local, corporate, and plant rules, standards, procedures, and guidelines associated with employee safety.
- Quality Standards: Ensure that all quality standards are maintained when performing job duties.
- Emergency Action Support: Act as Emergency Action Support.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent work experience. 5 years of electrical and electronics experience.
- Electrical Education and Training: Must have proper electrical education training and be able to pass the NOCTI for Electro Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- Technical Skills: PC/PLC knowledge skills to effectively troubleshoot issues. Basic reading, math, and communication skills.
- Continuous Learning: Open and willing to continue education and training on and off the job to enhance employee skills and abilities in all maintenance areas.
- Availability: Be willing to support the plant emergency and project-related requirements on a call-in and/or overtime basis. Be willing and able to support the plant in all maintenance skill areas to include all types of mechanical and electrical repairs and upgrades.
